Renowned boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has expressed his commitment to achieving greater milestones in his career while pledging to support Nigeria’s development.
Speaking to State House correspondents after meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the season’s celebrations, in Lagos, Joshua expressed pride in his heritage and promised to contribute to Nigeria’s progress.
He also commended Mr President and Nigerians in general for the warm reception extended to him and his family.
Fielding questions about a potential bout with Tyson Fury, Joshua, the former heavyweight champion, expressed optimism of great feats, while reaffirming his determination to reclaim the title of three-time world champion.
He noted that time is a critical factor and reflected on 2024 as a year where he could have achieved more. However, he expressed readiness to seize every opportunity in 2025 to reach his goals.
