Jennifer Lopez, 56, turned her film premiere into a family affair, walking the red carpet with her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, at the New York City screening of Kiss of a Spider Woman on October 6.

The musical drama, co-produced by her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s Artist Equity, sees Lopez star as Ingrid Luna. Both Affleck and the twins’ father, Marc Anthony, are closely connected to the event Anthony as their dad, and Affleck as the film’s executive producer.

Dressed in a striking Harris Reed gown with a spider-like bodice, Lopez posed with her children, who wore coordinated red, tan, and black outfits.

Earlier that day, Lopez shared on Live with Kelly and Mark that the twins are already touring colleges. “It’s happening they’re going, and it’s crazy,” she said, admitting the thought of being home alone is bittersweet. “It’s an exciting adventure, but I also think, ‘Oh! I’m going to be by myself.’”

Reflecting on parenting, Lopez admitted the teenage years have brought challenges: “They go from being your best little friend to ‘Get out of my room,’” she joked.

Still, she’s always seen Max and Emme as extraordinary: “It’s unconditional love… I just feel like they’re super special. I can’t wait to see what they do.”
