Veteran actress Jumoke George’s daughter, Adeola, who was trafficked to Mali four years ago, has finally returned to Nigeria.

The actress had previously shared her heartbreaking story on a YouTube podcast, prompting intervention from the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) and actress Biola Bayo.

Adeola, who had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan before she left for Mali under unclear circumstances, was warmly welcomed back by NIDCOM Chairman Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Biola Bayo, and actor Adeniyi Johnson.
