Meanwhile, yesterday’s sealing of over 4,700 properties in Abuja for non-payment of ground rent, President Tinubu has intervened, leading to a 14-day grace period for defaulters to pay up with penalties.
According to FCT Minister Wike’s aide, penalties range from ₦2 million to ₦5 million based on location.
Property buyers without Minister’s Consent or deed registration also have two weeks to comply.
