President Bola Tinubu will today meet with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress at the Aso Villa today to discuss the Federal Government’s decision on a new national minimum wage.
Tinubu is expected to decide on the ₦62,000 proposal from the government and private sector, as well as the ₦250,000 demand from Organized Labour.
Trade Union Congress President, Festus Osifo, who confirmed this yesterday, insisted that the N250,000 benchmark remains the ideal minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
