El-kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri have clinched the 2024 President Federation Cup, after beating Abia Warriors 2-nil in the finals.

The win was the third in the finals of the oldest cup competition in Nigeria for the Maiduguri-based team, who previously won the cup in 1991 and 1992.

The Desert Warriors went home with a prize money of N50m and will also compete in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

In the women’s end, Rivers Angels emerged champions of the 2024 Nigeria President Federation Cup following a 1-0 victory over Naija Ratels, to lift the President Federation Cup title for a record ninth time.
