Jeremy Allen White wins Best performance by a male actor in a television series – musical or comedy, for his role as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in “The Bear Jean Smart clinched Best performance by a female actor in a television series – musical or comedy, for her role in the series “Hacks”. Hiroyuki Sanada won Best performance by a male actor in a television series – drama, as Yoshii Toranaga in “Shōgun.” Colin Farrell took Best performance by a male actor in a limited series, anthology series, or a motion picture made for television, for his role as Oz Cobb in “The Penguin” “Shogun” clinched Best television series – drama Ali Wong won Best performance in stand-up comedy on television, for Single Lady. “The Brutalist” won Best Motion Picture – Drama, “Conclave” won Best Screenplay, Demi Moore in “The Substance” earned her her first Golden Globes as Best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – musical or comedy, while Adrien Brody won Best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – Drama for “The Brutalist”, which also earned Brady Corbet Best Director.
