The proposed meeting between the Senate and Security Chiefs on security issues has been POSTPONED to the 13th of February

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio who announced the postponement during plenary yesterday, even though a handful of Security Chiefs were present, explained that the decision was taken in order to accommodate other critical heads of intelligence agencies. 

The House Clerk was therefore directed to expand the invitees list to cover; all Service Chiefs The National Security Adviser, Finance Minister, Interior Minister, Defence Minister, Minister of State for Defence and the Minister of Police Affairs.
