Arsenal made a huge statement of their Premier League title on Sunday,
coming from behind to beat Manchester United 3-2 and open up a 5 point gap at
the top of the table, with a game in hand.
Earlier, defending champions Manchester City had closed the gap to just two
points with their 3-0 win against Wolves, courtesy of Erling Haaland’s fourth hat-
trick of the season.
Other results saw Aston Villa beat Southampton 1-nil, West Ham United pipped
Everton 2-nil, Chelsea and Liverpool end goalless, Leeds and Brentford also
ending goalless, Bournemouth drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest, Leicester City
drew 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion, and Crystal Palace drew goalless with
Newcastle United
