The Katsina State Police Command has announced a substantial reward of 50million Naira to any individual who provides valuable information that will lead to the arrest of two bandit kingpins operating within the state.

The Kingpins popularly known as Modi Modi and Jan Kare, are mostly operating in the regions of Kankara and Safana Local Government Areas of the State.

In a statement on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, noted that the reward serves as a testament to the Command’s dedication to ensuring justice prevails, as issue of security is a collective responsibility.

He added that the identity of the informants and the information provided will be kept strictly confidential to ensure their safety and protection

All concerned citizens are, therefore, encouraged to come forward with any relevant details that could assist the security agencies in apprehending the masterminds behind these heinous crimes of kidnapping and banditry.
