The Nigeria Premier Football League draw took place in Ibadan this Friday, and we now know exactly what the first weekend of the 2026/27 season looks like.

Enugu Rangers will begin their title defence right in front of their home fans, with Katsina United the visitors. That one already feels like a proper test for the champions.

Last season’s runners-up welcome Plateau United to Port Harcourt while in Ibadan, Shooting Stars open up with a South West derby against the newly promoted Inter Lagos at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
