Relegation-threatened Everton have sacked manager Frank Lampard after less
than a year in charge at the Goodison Park club
The former Chelsea boss was appointed to replace Rafael Benitez in January 2022
but leaves with the side 19th in the table, level on points with bottom club
Southampton.
Table toppers Arsenal have signed 22 year old Poland defender Jakub Kiwior from
Serie A side Spezia for 20m euros on a deal running until 2027.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are back to within three points of the Champions League
places after a 1-nil win over Fulham last night.
Striker Harry Kane scored the only goal with a sweet strike into the bottom corner
from just outside the box, to equal Jimmy Greaves’ record as Spurs’ all-time top
scorer with 266 goals.
It was only Spurs’ second Premier League win in six games and came after back-
to-back losses against Arsenal and Manchester City.
