Senate to summon Nyesom Wike over rising spate of Insecurity says Senator representing FCT

The senator representing the federal capital territory, Ireti Kingibe, says the Senate will summon the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom wike, over the rising spate of insecurity.

Kingibe, while appearing on Channels TV’s Politics Today yesterday, saws when the Senate resumes, she plans to raise the call for the minister and other security heads to come and enlighten the senate on how they plan to checkmate the ugly trend.

Meanwhile, the FCT police command has said its operatives, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, have rescued five sisters of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, and other Abuja kidnap victims from Kajuru forest in Kaduna State on Saturday night.

According to a statement by the FCT Command signed by SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Inspector General, Olukayode Egbetokun was appreciate for deploying the newly commissioned Special Intervention Squad, which is said to have given an uplift to the existing security architecture in the FCT.
