Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has reversed the decision of his predecessor, Tahir Mamman, on the 18-years admission benchmark into tertiary institutions.  Announcing this during his inaugural press briefing yesterday in Abuja, Alausa said what led to the initial decision was the way the National Policy on Education was designed.  The education minister also promised to meet with JAMB and others stakeholders on the implementation of the 16-years admission benchmark into tertiary institutions.  On the withdrawal of certificates obtained from Benin Republic and Togo, alausa says the policy would remain to help eliminate fake certificates from the system.  READ ANOTHER STORY HERE: https://thebeat97.fm/vice-president-speaks-to-minors-of-endbadgovernance-protesters/
